“Cuando proyecto, trato de usar la cualidad asociativa espacial del pensamiento. Recupero el bagaje de experiencias personales y colectivas de habitar, de haber estado en lugares y espacios que hemos almacenado en nuestros cuerpos, como terreno fértil e inicial de mi trabajo. Desde esta riqueza de experiencias surgen las primeras imágenes, las imágenes desde las que se desarrollarán las nuevas formas. En mi opinión, el trabajo de proyectar es un proceso que comienza y vuelve al hecho de habitar. Imagino las sensaciones producidas al vivir en la casa que estoy diseñando, trato de imaginar sus vibraciones, evocando al mismo tiempo todas las experiencias de espacio y lugar que somos capaces de crear, aquéllas que hemos creado y aquéllas que todavía hemos de crear, y sueño con las que me gustaría crear en la casa, todavía sin construir.”
